At first glance the personal savings data for December 2004 looks very good, however, the spike in personal savings
for December was caused primarily by the payment of Microsoft's special one-time dividend.  In fact, all else being
equal, without the Microsoft dividend personal savings for December would have been about $8.60 per capita.
